About HomeFree

Why We Exist

In 2018, Brian and his wife bought their first home and embarked on a year-long saga with multiple contractors and handymen to take care of a few simple projects. He was shocked that such a disjointed, chaotic, and non-transparent experience could exist relative to the money, time, and sanity that’s at stake for homeowners. After 4 years of projects and one major renovation that all yielded similar results, he was inspired to start HomeFree in 2022 with a mission: Disrupt the home improvement space with a company that puts homeowners first, delivers exceptional customer experiences at scale, and closes the skilled labor gap with rewarding careers for veterans.
